Season Pass Guide

Introduction

A special seasonal pass has been added to the season servers. You can open the season pass by clicking the icon in the top right next to your mini-map.

• Complete various achievements to unlock rewards in your battle pass.
• You must do each part of the season pass in order to unlock the next reward.
• All players have access to the free version and can buy a Black Spirit Season Pass in the Pearl store to obtain the extra premium rewards.
• After completing the season pass, you can graduate by clicking the graduate button in the Season Pass UI
  • Please make sure you have at least enhanced all of your gear to PEN Tuvala BEFORE you graduate!

Season Pass Challenges and Rewards

Completing your Season Pass

After completing your season pass, you will have the option to Graduate from the season server. This is done by clicking the graduate button in the season pass UI.

Graduating from the season server will use up one of your Season Character Tickets and will turn your character into a normal character, no longer able to access season server or the season exclusive content and rewards.

Remaking/Deleting your Season Character

If you don’t like the class you created and want to start again, you can delete your character and remake your season character. However, the Season pass will not reset and you will lose any character-bound items or Pearl Items (such as costumes and inventory space) that you have bought for the character.

Place all items that you can into storage before deleting and starting fresh!

Remaking your season character does not use up your Season Character Tickets. The ticket is only consumed when you graduate after completing the season pass, and when you graduate, your Season Pass will reset ready for the next season character you create.

You may want to consider holding on and finishing the season if you are near the end of the season pass. Alt characters in BDO are always useful and even if you don’t want to “main” that class you may still use it for other things such as life skills or as a boss alt.

Quitting the Season

You can also choose to quit the season, which will turn your season character into a normal character without needing to complete the season pass.

• Quitting the season will consume your Season Character Ticket
• Your character and tuvala gear will be converted to normal character/gear
• All other season items will be deleted
• You will no longer have access to the season pass, season server, or other season-related content.

Seal of Journey

You can also receive a new item  “[Season] Seal of Journey “ from the season pass rewards.

You can exchange these items directly in the Manage Currency UI.

• Click the Manage Currency icon on the top right of the screen (next to your mini-map).
• Or open the UI by going to the ESC Menu – Rewards (F3) – Manage Currency Menu

What should I exchange them for?

•  Choose Your Pet Box – Choose one of the following Tier 1 pets: Flondor Duck, Shaggy Dog, Phoniel Squirrel, Otter, Lost Penguin, or Fluffy.
•  Advice of Valks (+100) – One of the best options for both Veteran and new players. It gives you a +100 fail stack. For information on what stacks to use on what gear, check our Failstacking guidelines.

Secret Book of the Misty Breeze

Each time you complete one of the main questlines (Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah) you will also receive a [Season] Secret Book of the Misty Breeze. The season pass also rewards extra ones when you reach level 10.

This item can be used to gain a large number of skill points. The book rewards a fixed amount of skill points EXP so you can use these at any level.

However, it is worth noting that the amount of skill EXP you get is affected by skill EXP buffs so it is important to use as many as possible. I recommend waiting until you have finished the Mediah questline, then when you go to grind to level 58, pop all the skill EXP buffs you can and use the items at the same time to make sure you aren’t wasting the buffs.

Check our Skill EXP Buff List before using the Misty Breeze books. Aim to use as many as you can but don’t worry if you can’t get them all, some are only available at limited times or through the pearl store/events. At the very least, make sure to use Beast’s Draught, Simple Cron Meal, Family Fame buff, and Loyalty buff.

Boiling/Frozen Tides Black Stone

• Boiling Tides Black Stone
  • Boiling Tides Black Stone can be used on TET Tuvala Accessories to enhance them to PEN with 100% chance.
• Frozen Tides Black Stone
  • Frozen Tides Black Stone can be used on TET Tuvala Armors and Weapons to enhance them to PEN with 100% chance.

Tachros’ Spirit Stone

Every time the Tachros’ Spirit Stone is activated, you will gain buffs for 5 minutes and the item will lose 1 durability. The Spirit Stone cannot be repaired and can no longer be used if it has lost all durability.

Buffs when activated:

• Extra AP Against Monsters +5
• Combat EXP +50%
• Skill EXP +30%
• Attack Speed +4%
• Casting Speed +4%
• Weight Limit +50 LT

Horse Emblems: Fine Horse

In the Summer Season Pass, you can obtain a tier 8 female horse. This horse can be bred and exchanged like any other normal horse, but cannot be registered on the horse market.

• However, if you successfully awaken as a dream horse, you can register in the horse market.

The horse automatically learns the following 3 skills:

Instant Accell	Control key: [F] while the horse is running Temporary speed boost
S: Instant Accell	Control key: Press [F] again during Instant Accel Allows you to gain a second speed boost by pressing [F] again during Instant Accel
S: Sideways	Control key: [A] or [D] Increases the speed of the Sideways skill Move sideways without changing direction.  S: Sideways skill can be used after acquiring the Sideways skill.

Other Season Pass Items

[Event] Classic Outfit Box

• Costume box containing a costume for your class.

Resplendent Kydict’s Crystal Box

• Right-click to obtain Resplendent Kydict’s Crystal – Adventure x2!

• A crystal that can be transfused into helmet sockets and grant the following effects: Item Effect: Max HP +50, HP Recovery +5, Combat EXP Gain +20%, and Skill EXP Gain +10%.

Contract: [Transaction Maid] Fairy Irene & Contract: [Storage Maid] Fairy Irene

• A Storage Maid allows you to access the closest Storage without having to walk to it, while a Transaction Maid means you don’t have to visit the Central Market yourself to access the Market.
• Register your maid by right-clicking the item in your Pearl Inventory

 

Cron Stone

• An item that allows you to safely enhance gear without the risk of the item degrading.
  
• Save these for enhancing gear after the season.

 

 

[Event] Sealed Book of Combat (7 Days)

• Right-click to unseal and get the [Event] Book of Combat (7 Days). The unsealed [Event] Book of Combat (7 Days) can grant a Combat EXP +100% and Skill EXP +50% buff.

Fughar’s Fishing Rod 

• A fishing rod that can only be equipped by Season Characters, and can be repaired through a Blacksmith.

 

Combat & Skill EXP 300% Scroll (60 min)

• You can use this item to increase your Combat and Skill EXP by 300% for 60 minutes.

Trainer’s Flute (Permanent)

• A flute that allows you to call your mount from further away.

Advice of Valks

• Advice of Valks are stored fail stacks. You can right-click one to gain the amount as a fail stack. Advice of Valks (+20) gives you a +20 fail stack and Advice of Valks (+80) gives you a +80 fail stack.

Time-filled Fragments

• Repair your Tuvala gear with Time-filled Fragments

Rift’s Echo

• Summon monsters with the Rift’s Echo, defeat them then obtain items that increase your season character’s growth!

 

[Event] All-new ADV Support Box

• A box that contains Item Collection Increase Scroll x10, [Event] Enhancement Help Kit III, [Event] Stella’s Spirit Stone, Cron Stone x500, Contribution EXP, and 3 Tuvala Weapon Exchange Coupons.

 

Fughar’s Riding Crop

• Season-exclusive horse gear that can be equipped by season characters, increasing your horse’s max speed, max auto-run speed, and Auto-run Sprint speed.

Loyalties 

• An in-game currency that you can use to purchase items from the Pearl Shop (F3) → Loyalties tab.

Inventory +4 Expansion Coupon 

• Increases the slots in your Inventory (I), letting you carry more items in your adventures!

Celestial Horse Calling Horn (15 Days) 

• Allows you to call your mount (donkey, horse, camel, etc.) from anywhere as long as it is taken out of a stable.

Item Collection Increase Scroll 

• Use this item to receive the following buffs depending on the activated Item Collection level.
