Edania: Inner Monster Zones Guide

Introduction

The Edania: Inner region has a total of 6 grind spots. There are 5 solo spots and 1 party spot designed for a party of 3 players. The 5 solo spots increase in difficulty, with the easiest and lowest difficulty being the Aphrodon Temple monster zone, and hardest end-game monster zone being Event Horizon which has a recommended total AP stat of 2570.

All of the monsters in Edania are the “Edania” monster species, and there are new items that drop at each of the monster zones, including the Wandering Origin Crystal, which grants extra AP against Edanian monsters. You can also obtain Nev’s Fragment, which are used to craft upgraded HAN Reforge Stones, Primordial Pigments, Fusion Shards which are used to create the Fused Crystal of Decimation, and many other items such as Apeiron Accessories and Ekleta/Apeiron Accessory materials.

Agris’s Domain – Aphrodon Temple

Rotations

• There are 12 rotations in total.

Mechanics

• CC Type: Knockdown/Bound

• At each spot, there will be a Tree and a Goldfield Scarecrow. Hit the scarecrow to begin.

• Waves of monsters will appear, if you kill 3 packs of monsters, the message “The harvest winds begin to blow” and a scarecrow will appear around the edge of the grind spot
• Repeat this until the message “A golden fragrance rides the wind” and there are 3 scarecrows. Once 3 scarecrows spawn, the tree in the middle will glow.
  • You must keep the tree glowing for approx 11-15 minutes to trigger the AFK phase. If you are too slow with DPS, the scarecrows will disappear 1 by 1 and the spot will reset.

• While the tree is glowing, waves of monsters will continue to spawn.
• Every 4 waves, a message appears “You sense the energy of abundance” and a large white wild boar appears. This boar does an attack which one shots all of the monsters. It can do a little bit of damage to you and knock you back, but isn’t fatal.
• After the boar kills the wave, a jumping scarecrow will appear in the next pack. The scarecrow will jump into the air, then land at your location with a red circle AOE. The attack does a lot of damage (90% HP) so make sure you iframe or move out of the red circle. You can also forward guard it if you’re careful and it does not do any damage to your block. The scarecrow will jump and do this attack 1 – 3 times in a row (at random). The more times the scarecrow jumps, the more loot you get.
• When the scarecrow lands, you can attack it and destroy it.
• Agris can also randomly appear instead of the boar, and will spawn with the message “You sense an intoxicating energy of abundance”. Agris will one shot the wave for you, and a jumping scarecrow will spawn as well which has significantly better loot.
• After approx 11-15 minutes (30 waves – 9 scarecrows) the message “Agris’s blessing settles over the fields”, and a 2-minute 30-seconds “AFK phase” begins, where waves of monsters will spawn and instantly die. When the AFK phase ends, the rotation will start again. You do not need to spawn the 3 scarecrows again, you can continue grinding with the tree already glowing.

Rotations

• There are 4 rotations in total
• This monster zone has 3 points for each rotation (1 tower + 2 crystals)

Mechanics

• CC Type: Knockback/Floating

• The crystals and monsters around the crystal will have a large red barrier around them. When you step inside the barrier, it will deal damage, and the message “Intruder alert” will appear.
• To start grinding, go to the big tower and kill the 5 monster packs around the tower.

• When the Enslaved Overseer monster reaches 25% HP, a message will appear: “The overseer orders the Black Crystals to be offered up”.
  • Porter monsters with red crystal trade packs will begin moving towards the tower/crystal. When you kill one of these monsters, they will explode and deal damage to the monsters around them. Always focus on back attacking the Overseer in each pack.

• After killing 5 packs, the message “Who dares interferes with our work!” and Markthanan’s Daughter will appear.

• When you kill Markthanan’s Daughter, you will gain a buff called “Watchful Gaze” which lasts for 4 minutes.
• With the buff active, you can now go to one of the two crystals and kill the packs of monsters around them.
• Again, make sure you focus the Overseer in each pack and the destroy the porters that are spawned. If you prevent the porters from reaching the crystal you get the message “The quarry quota was not met, leaving the Black Crystal energy unstable”. This will cause the Overseers in the 2nd cycle to explode when they are killed.

• After killing the packs of monsters around the crystal (2 cycles – 5 packs each cycle), the crystal will be destroyed and explode. Move straight to the 2nd crystal and attack the monsters there.
  • Warning: If the “Watchful Gaze” buff runs out before you get to the 2nd crystal and hit the monsters, the grind spot will reset, and you will need to wait, then start again back at the tower. This is a DPS check and can be failed if you do not get to the 2nd crystal in time with the buff still active.
  • If you are successful you will get the message: “Quarry management authority confirmed. Alert status lifted”
  • If you fail you will get the message: “Intruder alert in effect. Valid authorization not confirmed.
• After clearing 2 cycles around the 2nd crystal, Markthanan’s Servant appears with the message “Markthanan’s patrol descends”
• The dragon is not difficult to defeat, when he is approximately 70% HP he will fly back up into the air and spawn 2 packs of Porter monsters that try to reach the crystal. After killing those, the dragon lands again and can be defeated.
• When you kill the Martkthanan’s Servant, a 1-minute “AFK phase” begins, where waves of monsters will spawn and instantly die. When the AFK phase ends, you can start the rotation again by going back to the tower.

Rotations

• There are 3 rotation in total

Mechanics

• CC Type: Stun/Stiffness/Freezing
• Each rotation has a brazier in the middle; stand near the brazier to trigger the grind spot. “The sinners are summoned” will appear, and the first pack will spawn. Monster packs spawn in a circle around the brazier.
• There is a DPS check, and you must kill at least 15 packs of monsters within 4 minutes after triggering the rotation.
  • When killing the packs, move on to the next pack as early as possible. You can leave 1-2 monsters behind to follow, but if 3 or more monsters are still alive, then the next pack won’t spawn
  • If you fail the DPS check, the message “The sin-stained history begins to crumble” will appear, and the DPS check will reset.
  • If you are successfully meeting the DPS check, a fragment can randomly appear with the message “Aetos drops a Fragment of Divinity”. Hitting this orb will instantly kill the whole pack.
• If you successfully pass the DPS check, the message “Flames of prayer rise from the brazier” will appear.
  • You will now have 2 packs spawn together and can pull the packs together.
  • The phase ends once you have killed a total of 24 packs and all 3 of the knights that appear one after another (Knight of Conquest > Knight of War > Knight of Famine)
  • The Knight monsters will debuff the monsters when defeated and can also give you a buff.
  • It is still possible to fail the DPS check and completely reset the spot if you do not kill the packs fast enough.
• When the message “Flames of doubt smolder within the braizer” appears, you have reached the final phase before the AFK phase.
• There are 1 of 3 mechanics, and they are always in the same order.
  1. Unbroken Oath = You will get a 1-minute buff that allows you to 1-shot the packs. Keep clearing the packs as they spawn until the 1-minute timer ends and the AFK phase begins.
  2. Elion’s Tears = Red orbs will appear around the brazier. Attack them, and they will either upgrade or disappear, dropping loot when they disappear. It is possible for the orbs to upgrade twice. When all the orbs have disappeared the AFK phase begins.
  3. Priest of the End = The priest is a boss. Kill the boss to start the AFK phase.
• A 1-minute 20-second “AFK phase” begins, where waves of monsters will spawn and walk towards the brazier before praying and dying. The monsters will come from one direction only, so stand on that side to ensure you get all the loot. When the AFK phase ends, the spot will automatically reset and spawn the first pack back at the start.

Throne of Edana Buff

The current Edana player occupying the Throne of Edana can activate the Edana’s Blessing buff up to 10 times per week (resetting when the Edana is crowned).

• The Edana’s Blessing buff gives all players, on every server, an Item Drop Rate +100% for up to 1 hour for that particular grind spot.
  • Eg. The Magaia Edana can activate the buff and any player who grinds in Magaia Temple will have an additional +100% Item Drop Rate.
  • This buff applies across all servers and stacks with Arsha server and Conquest Lord buffs, allowing a maximum of Item Drop Rate +500%.

The Edana’s Blessing buff UI appears at the top of the screen and shows the buffs (if any) currently active.

Edania Marni Realm

To enter Marni Realm for the Edania Monster Zones, you need to buy a Marni Scroll for the relevant grind spot. The scroll is purchased from the same NPC you obtain the weekly quest from.
