Scholar Early Access
- You can experience the new class, Scholar, in advance at the Black Desert Research Institute.
- All adventurers who participate in the Scholar preview event can access the pre-experience through the research institute.

All players can test Scholar early on Global Labs and can sign up for a permanent Global Labs account. You can also copy your characters from your main account onto Global Lab for testing. Information and a full walkthrough of how to do this can be found in our Global Labs Guide (linked below)
Global Lab Test Server: Scholar Awakening Secret Book
※ At the Black Desert Research Institute, you can learn all of Scholar’s skills through the methods below.
- Visit the <Black Desert Research Institute> Eiorah NPC located in each major city, and purchase and use the Awakening Secret Book Box.
- If you need silver, you can receive Gold Bars from Challenge Rewards (Y)
- In Velia Village, Eiorah is located across from NPC Alustin.
2. If you have acquired the skills through using the Awakening Secret Book ‘Particle Acceleration’, you can learn and use all the remaining skills in the ‘Awakening Weapon’ tab.
- As new classes are added, the character slot that can be expanded with the official server’s character slot expansion ticket will be expanded by 1 slot. (31 spaces → 32 spaces)
Free Dream Horse (Vipiko’s Dreaming Horse)
- As a thank you to all the adventurers who participated in the Calpheon Ball, ‘Vipiko’s Dreaming Horse’, where you can obtain a tier 9 dream horse, has come to you.
- Two types of challenges have been added to obtain Vipiko’s Dreaming Horse.
※ Regardless of whether it was obtained in the 2023 Heidel FESTA, this challenge can be completed once per family.

- In accordance with the integration of items required to enhance Tuvala equipment, the probability of obtaining Time-filled Black Stone items for each monster zone has been increased.
- Refined Magical Black Stone and Tuvala Ore, which can be obtained from weekly quests, regional quests, season passes, and box items, have been changed to “Time-Filled Black Stone.”
- ※ When the official server is updated, the ‘Refined Magical Black Stone’ and ‘Tuvala Ore’ of the season in progress for each adventurer will be converted to ‘Time-Filled Black Stone’ and paid based on the ratio.

- Please note that in permanent seasons, if you graduate from an ongoing season, any season-related items you own will be deleted. Therefore, the converted and paid items are only used in the season that each adventurer is in progress.
Level 60 Challenge Reward: TET Blackstar Selection Box
- When a season character reaches level 60, a challenge has been added once per family to help with growth after the season.
- Through this challenge, you can obtain 1 type of TET (IV) Blackstar weapon (main weapon/awakening weapon/sub-weapon) or 10 Origin of Dark Hunger.

- During the Great Spear Ghost Battle quest, the issue where the Gulgak summoned during the battle with the Great Spear Demon was intermittently summoned in the air has been corrected.
- [Dehkia’s Lantern] The issue where the number of monsters subdued in the Ash Forest Suppression Guild Mission did not increase when hunting Ash Forest monsters has been fixed.
- The issue of not being able to move smoothly when moving to a specific location in the river in the Naksion area has been fixed.
- An issue where it appeared that subjugation rewards could be obtained intermittently in the Black Shrine UI has been fixed.
- The issue where the appearance of carpets placed in certain locations in the Ulukita area was unnatural has been fixed.
- The issue where some terrain in the Muzgar area looked unnatural has been fixed.
- The issue where footprints of characters and vehicles were left behind in Muzgar when certain graphic quality settings were set has been fixed.
- The issue where trade goods in the bag were not shaded in the warehouse tab of the current local village when opening a warehouse through a maid has been fixed.
- The issue where weather and environmental effects were applied abnormally when using a sniper rifle in photo mode (Ctrl+U) has been fixed.
- The issue where transparent objects remained in certain locations in the Junaid River has been fixed.
- An issue where the weather effects on the world map did not match the weather in the actual area when opening the world map for the first time after accessing Black Desert has been fixed.
- The issue where the ‘[Magnus] Enlightenment of the Abyss’ quest was not displayed in the Usa class’s quest list window has been fixed.
- The contents of some skills and commands displayed in the skill guide UI have been corrected.
- The issue where some terrain in the Mediah Castle area looked unnatural has been fixed.
- An issue where the character would move its head following the mouse during the appearance motion when selecting a character in the character creation window has been fixed.
- An issue where the confirmation message for succession and awakening changes in the skill (K) window was displayed with the same content that was displayed just before has been fixed.
- The issue where the dyeing of some parts of the ‘Silent Night Chaser Shoes’ costume was unnatural has been fixed.
- [Drakania] Outlaw of Margoria: The issue where some of the appearances were different when the durability of the short pants armor costume equipment was reduced has been fixed.
