Caphras’ Sapling (Bonus Chests)

There are 10 bonus quests you can complete called Caphras’ Sapling. These are jumping puzzles where you must touch each of the green orbs for them to disappear. Once you get to the end of the course, you are rewarded with Primordial Fragment x1

Caphras’ Sapling I (1)

• The Caphras’ Sapling is located on top of the wall at Nymphamare Castle.
• You can get up there using an Arduanatt horse and landing on the wall. It is also possible to climb up near the base of the castle and then jump across.

• Stand on top of the glowing blue Caphras Sapling to enter the instance. You can leave the instance again with ESC if you need to retry, and it will take you back to the start.
• Make sure you stand in every green orb until they disappear, or you will not be able to open the chest at the end.

Caphras’ Sapling II (2)

• The Caphras’ Sapling can be found east of Aetherion Castle near the mountain rocks.

• Stand on top of the glowing blue Caphras Sapling to enter the instance. You can leave the instance again with ESC if you need to retry, and it will take you back to the start.
• Make sure you stand in every green orb until they disappear, or you will not be able to open the chest at the end.

• For this Caphras Sapling, you must climb all the way up to the top of the mountain to get to the chest.

Caphras’ Sapling III (3)

• The 3rd Caphras’ Sapling can be found at the Sanctified Mercy node.

• Stand on top of the glowing blue Caphras Sapling to enter the instance. You can leave the instance again with ESC if you need to retry, and it will take you back to the start.
• Make sure you stand in every green orb until they disappear, or you will not be able to open the chest at the end.

Caphras’ Sapling IV (4)

• This Caphras’ Sapling can be found at the broken bridge near Neftak Outpost (Magnus Well exit location).

• Stand on top of the glowing blue Caphras Sapling to enter the instance. You can leave the instance again with ESC if you need to retry, and it will take you back to the start.
• Make sure you stand in every green orb until they disappear, or you will not be able to open the chest at the end.

• You must jump onto the invisible platforms to make it across the broken bridge.

• Once you are at the first orb, move backwards to the edge of the platform, then use a running jump (W + SHIFT + SPACE) to try and get your character to grab the next platform above.

Caphras’ Sapling V (5)

• The 5th Caphras’ Sapling can be found underwater to the west of the Stillcoral Grove node (near Nymphamare Castle).
• You may want to equip a swimming costume if you have one, but it is not needed to complete the Sapling.
• If you run out of breath during the Sapling instance, just return to the surface and dive back down again.

• Dive down at the location and swim to the glowing blue Caphras Sapling to enter the instance. You can leave the instance again with ESC if you need to retry, and it will take you back to the start.
• Make sure you swim into every green orb until they disappear, or you will not be able to open the chest at the end.

Caphras’ Sapling VI (6)

• The 6th Sapling can be found near the “Child Waiting for Fish” NPC along the coast north of the Platerra Mountains.
• Climb along the rocks to get to chest

Caphras’ Sapling VII (7)

• This Sapling can be found at the broken bridge at the Garden of Immortality node.
• There are invisible platforms you must jump and land on to get to the other side.
• If you fall and land in the lava below, you will get a debuff that reduces your HP. If you fall, you can press ESC to exit and retry before you hit the lava and get the debuff.

Caphras’ Sapling VIII (8)

• The 8th Sapling is found at the Ancient Ruins node on the broken arch structure.
• You must jump onto the invisible platforms to get to the other side.

Caphras’ Sapling IX (9)

• For this Sapling, you start near the Great Red Spot node and must go across the broken bridge above the lava.

• Once you get to the higher part of the bridge, climb up the rocks at the side to get to the top. You cannot climb up the part of the bridge.

Caphras’ Sapling X (10)

• The final Sapling can be found west of the Crossroads of Defiance node. You will climb up to the top of the mountain and then back down again.
