Merchant Ring Piece Identification

※ The Merchant Ring Piece Appraisal cannot be checked at the Black Desert Global Lab and will be updated on the official server.

  •  The ‘Merchant Ring Piece’, which could not be established in its full form before being appraised, has finally begun to recover through Shakatu.
    • If you go to Shakatu with the existing ‘Merchant Ring Piece’, you can receive an appraisal in the form of ‘Al Yurad’s Ring Piece’ through meticulous appraisal.

Item QoL

  • The status of the event accessory costumes acquired through the character release commemoration event has been changed from character-owned to family-owned.

  •  The Venomous Night Fang item has been improved to be an item that is stacked in one bag.
    • As a result, the method for crafting Yvedor’s Scroll has been changed to ‘Simple Alchemy with 5 Venomous Night Fangs (L)’.

 

Processes and related quests are added so that adventurers who have converted Narchillian equipment into Fighting spirit stones can acquire Narchillian equipment again.
If you heat the fighting spirit stone, you can get the first breath of the spirit again, and if you heat up the rest of the narchillian equipment and carry out the fughar quest with 7 first breath of the spirit, you can get 7 parts of narchillian equipment again.
If Narchillian equipment is no longer needed and you need a fighting spirit stone again, you can obtain a fighting spirit stone again by heating the fragment of the fighting spirit stone obtained earlier and the first breath of the spirit.

In addition, a quest has been added that allows you to repeatedly acquire the Canion weapon required to exchange Narchillian equipment.

  • A way to return Narchillian equipment that has been converted to a fighting spirit stone to its equipment state has been added.

1. When you heat (L) a Fighting Spirit Stone (weapon) or (Armor), you can obtain ‘Spirit’s First Breath’ and ‘Fragment of Fighting Spirit Stone (Weapon), (Armor)’ fragments, respectively.

2. It also heats (L) Narsilan equipment in other parts to transform it into ‘Spirit’s First Breath’.

4. If you complete this quest, you can acquire all 7 parts of Narchilian equipment.

  • Canion Awakening Weapons have been added.
    • When there is no Canion Awakening weapon during the ‘[Special Support] Narsilan’s Powerful Awakening Weapon’ quest, a path to obtain the weapon has been added.
    • You can accept the ‘[Weekly] Carnion Awakening Weapon’ quest through Altinova’s arms dealer Tulem.

Atoraxxion Changes

Through the Black Desert Global Lab today, some large and small class improvements have been reflected. However, please note that this will not be updated on the official server right away, and will be introduced at once after sufficiently testing through the lab and receiving feedback from adventurers. (Of course, related balance patches will continue to be updated in the Black Desert Lab, even if the content is small.)

  • When using the Shadow Eruption I~Absolute skill while on horseback, the attack range has been modified so that the attack range is the same for each hit.

Tamer

Tamer is going to have a big change in awakening through today’s Black Desert Lab update. In particular, the legendary beast dance skill is completely changed to  independent skills. Although the Legendary Beast Dance skill was previously one skill, divided into Vermillion Bird, Azure Dragon, White Tiger and Black Turtle, so it can be used  according to various situations with different effects. Therefore, the Legendary Beast Dance skill is not a single skill now, but has been divided into four independent skills, each with the characteristics of the four gods. We expect that we will be able to continue playing by using each skill a little more actively than before. In addition, the damage of skills such as Flow: Soaring Strike has been increased to increase  grinding efficiency.
  • The Legendary Beast Dance skill has been changed to a skill that is divided into four skills and the cooldown time is applied independently.
    • Legendary Beast Dance:  Vermillion Bird (cooldown time: 8 seconds)
    • Legendary Beast Dance: Azure Dragon (Cooldown time: 6 seconds)

Legendary Beast Dance: Black Turtle

Legendary Beast Dance: Azure Dragon

Legendary Beast Dance: White Tiger

  • Due to the effect of the Prime: Serene Mind skill, the stamina consumed when the skill is activated during the cooldown of the next skill has been reduced.

  • In the description of the Execution skill, the explanation of right-click linkage after using the Vacuum Slash skill has been added. 
  • It has been modified so that the down attack effect is applied when the skill of Murderous Intent is successful. 
  • Fixed the issue where, when right-clicking was used in certain situations after using the skill Core: Murderous Intent, the Flashing Light skill would be activated.
  • Fixed the issue where the bound effect was applied to the player without acquiring the Core: Sudden Decapitation skill

Witch, Wizard

  • The description of the following skills has been modified to display the same as the actual effect.
    • Earthquake II~IV, Black Spirit: Prime: Lightning
  • When using the Prime: Earthquake: Destruction skill, the phenomenon in which MP was not restored even though some hits were successful has been corrected. 
  • The phenomenon that the status effect was applied to all hits when using the Earthquake I – Absolute has been fixed.
  • The phenomenon in which the Black Spirit: Lightning skill was activated even when the Black Spirit’s Rage Lock was set at Lightning I ~ V levels has been fixed.

 

 

Dark Knight

Dark Knight Awakening is a style that continues the combo by tying them together and using skills quickly, like the scattering darkness – Flow: bombardment – Flow: darkness spread skill linkage or the seed of disaster – flow: rooted disaster skill linkage. However, there is a momentary explosive power when all of these skills are used, but it is disappointing in terms of continuous (damage), so (in PvE), the main weapon skills were often mixed. In order to reduce this disappointment and increase the proportion of awakening skills, we have adjusted the linkage of the Soul Snatch – Grip of Grudge skill and the damage amount of those skills.
  •  The Soul Snatch skill has been renewed in the form of attacking by floating a phantom sword.
  •  The skill damage of Spirit Blaze I~IV skills has been increased as follows. (PvP damage is the same as before.)
    • Damage: 375% / 451% / 527% / 1205% → 525% / 722% / 949% / 1326
    • PvP damage reduction rate: 29.9% / 29.9% / 30% / 57.9% → 49.9% / 56.2% / 61.1% / 61.8%
  •  The skill damage of the Flow: Spirit Blaze skill has been increased as follows. (PvP damage is the same as before.)
    • Damage: 1205% → 1508%
    • PvP damage reduction rate: 42.4% → 54%
  •  The cooldown of the Grip of Grudge skill has been changed from 10 seconds to 6 seconds.
  • Critical hit chance that only applies to monsters has been added to the Grip of Grudge skill.
  • It has been improved to link more smoothly when used after the skills of Grip of Grudge, Cluster of Despair, and Soul Snatch
  • It has been improved to smoothly link with the skill of Cluster of Despair after the Grip of Grudge skill.
  • The phenomenon that Prime: Lunacy of Vedir skill could not be locked has been fixed
 

 

Mystic

  • Fixed the issue where continuous motion was not activated when switching between awakening and main weapon with Mass Destruction by holding the ← or → + C keys.
  • The skill Wolf’s Frenzy has been improved to activate more smoothly.
  • The skill guide UI has been added so that you can check the skill of Gushing Waters
  • The skill guide UI has been modified to be displayed even in the awakened state.
  • It has been modified so that damage and bound effects are applied correctly for basic attacks while on horseback.
  • The description of the PvP damage reduction of the Absolute: Heavy Fist skill has been modified to be the same as the actual effect.
 
 

Hashashin

In the case of the succession hashashin, there was a bit of a disappointment in grinding. In particular, he focused on the overall damage increase adjustment rather than major changes, as he makes good use of most of the lore. In addition, the combo was not smooth: After the slash or slicing skill, the main skilll, called blade, was adjusted so that it can be linked quickly.

Nova

Nova has made some changes to both Succession and Awakening. First of all, the skill has been changed so that even if the guard status is released under certain circumstances, the guard status is maintained (so that the Thornwood Guard is always summoned) when using Ice Mist and Kratum’s Charge skills. Due to this, it is expected that even if the guard is forcibly released when using a certain skill, the damage of the skill using Ice Mist will be greatly reduced. The damage of Awakening Nova has been adjusted so that it can be more powerful in accelerated state. In addition, the ‘Acceleration: Frozen Ring’ skill that can be activated in the accelerated state, like the acceleration skill, has been added so that you can play faster than in the normal state.

Succession

  • The cooldown time of the Prime: Frozen Earth skill has been changed. 
    • 18 seconds → 14 seconds
  •  In the Prime: Frozen Earth skill, Axian’s attack direction has been changed, and the number of hits has been increased.
  • Prime: Stamma’s Mate I-IV skills cooldown has been changed.

Drakania

  • The linkage has been improved to be faster in certain situations when using Embers after using Prime: Eviscerate
  • Fixed the issue where the front guard effect was not applied when the Prime: Sundering Claw skill was used by consuming Ion Energy.
