Calpheon Elvia’s Realm

[Quint Hill]

    • In the depths of the Calpheon land tinged with despair, a tiny particle of hope was discovered. A legacy left by the great ancient spirits who blessed the world in the past, it has the power to drive away the black sun and scatter the rain of blessings for a while.
    • If you use the Ancient Spirit’s Light near the Rift of Despair, the Rift of Despair is purified for about 5 minutes, and you can receive powerful Spirit blessings within a certain range.
    • Ancient Spirit’s Light can be obtained very rarely by killing monsters encroached on by Hadum in Calpheon Elvia’s realm.

Music Album/Music Composition

We have improved the music composition content so that composer adventurers can use composition content more conveniently and save time. Even after this improvement, we will continue to find ways to increase the convenience of composing and continue to improve. Thank you to the adventurers who always compose and play great songs in Black Desert World.

Improved composing convenience

  •  Shortcut keys have been added for quick access to the following functions while composing.
    • Edit mode: E (edit)
    • Selection mode: S (select)
    • Music play/pause: Space Bar (Available only when notes are registered.)
    • Delete note: Delete (Available only when a note is selected by dragging the mouse in selection mode.)

 

  • The background of the composition window has been improved so that you can conveniently check the notes while composing.
    • The background color of the composition window has been changed to the color corresponding to each key so that the white and black keys can be distinguished immediately.
    • A white dividing line has been added so that you can immediately see the note of each octave.

 

  • The note copy & paste function has been improved to make it more convenient to use copy & paste while composing.
  1.  In the selection mode, you can copy notes by selecting the notes you want and pressing Ctrl + C.
  2. After copying the note, you can paste the note by selecting the timeline at the top and pressing Ctrl + V.
  3. If you set the note interval (1/4 to 1/64) in the note properties, you can specify the timeline more precisely and then paste.
  4. After copying notes, you can paste them on other instruments in the same way.
    • ※ In the case of instruments that support the same playing method, copy & paste is also applied to the playing method.
  5. When pasting a note, the scroll bar automatically moves to the pasted timeline.
  6. If you paste a note incorrectly, you can remove the pasted note again with the Delete key while the note is selected.

 

  •  The note movement function has been improved to make it more convenient to use note movement while composing.
    • The range that can be moved by moving after selecting multiple notes in selection mode has been improved.
    • * When moving selected notes, you can move notes even if they go beyond the area of ​​the currently displayed composition screen.
    • Improvements have been made so that the note selection status is not canceled even after moving the notes, and notes can be moved again.
    • When a part of a note is out of the composition screen, the note length is reduced by that part.
    • * Ex) If the selection is released while the note is moved to the left so that only half of it is visible, the note will be cut as far as it is out.
    • However, notes will be removed if they are out of the range of the instrument or if the selection mode is turned off.

 

  • A note duplication function has been added so that you can conveniently apply the same note to another instrument while composing.
    • You can duplicate notes and octaves with other instruments by selecting ‘Duplicate’ from the detailed instrument menu on the left side of the composition window.
    • You can add instruments to be applied by duplicating notes from the menu.
    • Notes in a range not supported by the duplicated instrument are not applied.

 

[Composition TIP] In the composition window, you can scroll the score horizontally by operating Shift+mouse wheel (up/down).

Monster Changes

  • The camera shake effect of Vodkan and Khalkish in Hystria Ruins has been improved naturally.
  • The camera focus effect of Atoraxion – Sycrakea Phisesis has been improved naturally.

 

  • Mirumok Watchers and Keepers have been changed so that they can be killed after all monsters have been summoned.
    • The health of Mirumok Watcher and Keeper has been reduced by 400% compared to before.
    • If you fail to kill within a certain amount of time, Mirumok Watcher and Watchman explode and inflict damage.

 

  • The world boss Nouver has been changed to keep his flight status shorter and come down to the ground faster.

  •  <Despair> Gyfin Rasia Killer has been improved to appear near the Tower of Transitioners.
After being guided to the Black Desert Research Lab and improving the loot of all hunting grounds applied to the Korean official server and adding features for each hunting ground, we have confirmed that many adventurers are visiting various hunting grounds. As I said before, the goal of this update was to find a place that suits you and enjoy hunting according to the characteristics of each hunting ground. For improvement of hunting ground loot, we check various data collected after the update, and we plan to adjust appropriately by checking the characteristics and concept of each hunting ground, recommended attack power, and the play style of adventurers, if there are insufficient or excessive areas.

UI Changes – Item Drop Rate Display

Related information has been added to My Information (P) and Item Collection Increase Scroll Form UI so that you can see the current item drop rate increase value at a glance. We wanted to introduce this function in the last update, but felt regretful that it was applied separately in the process of improving the completeness so that it can be used in a more convenient way. It will be applied quickly to the official server, so we would appreciate it if you could wait a little longer.
  •  A UI has been added to check the currently applied item collection increase.

Tamer

In the last patch, we divided the skills to strengthen the personality of each Legendary Beast Dance and increase the use of PVE. However, from a PVP point of view, the fact that you can get super armor and crowd control effects from any state when you learn the Legendary Beast Dance skill has changed insignificantly. In order to solve this problem, it was decided to combine the Legendary Beast Dance skill into one skill again and strengthen the personality of the four states. However, the super armor that continues every 3 seconds and the crowd control effect applied 4 times were judged to be strong, so the cooldown time was changed to apply when used continuously. When you learn the new Legendary Beast Dance: Assimilation skill, the energy of the four gods is assimilated into different skills and strengthened according to the enhanced effect. In addition, the convenience of changing postures has been improved by improving the ability to use forward evasive movement immediately in the awakening state.
  • The following changes have been applied to the Legendary Beast Dance skills

Sage

Sage’s Impaling Flash is one of the skills representing awakening. In order to use this skill more actively, we have given the option to return to the original position (where the first cast was performed) after using Impaling Flash. As a result, it has been improved to return to the original position or use finishing skills near the target as before.
In addition, to deal damage in a more stable state, a defense check has been added to the Spear Bolt and flow: aftershock skills. (However, as the two skills are added, the defense judgment effect of the existing Core: Spear Bolt has been removed.)
In addition, when Bolt is on cooldown in Kibelius state, the Rift Chain skill can be used immediately, adding a bit of survivability.
  •  Fixed the issue where the appearance of Kiv was awkwardly exposed when linking the following skills during basic attack.

Corsair

Heart-catcher Patraca is a kind of ‘long-distance grab’, and if you look at its characteristics, it is a skill that can achieve high performance in PvP. However, because of its good performance, we balanced it with a narrow range and long animation, which was become particularly difficult to utilize due to the rather long animation. Therefore, after using some skills, the activation speed has been increased so that it can be used faster than before. In addition, the activation speed of some other skills has been increased, and the linkage of skills has been strengthened.
  • The skill Cap’n’s Orders: Open Fire! that is activated after using the skill Cap’n’s Orders: Cease Fire! has been changed to a key input form instead of ‘automatically activated’
    • After using The skill Cap’n’s Orders: Open Fire!, you must press the F key or ‘hold it’ to link to the Cap’n’s Orders: Cease Fire!
    • After using the Cap’n’s Orders: Open Fire! skill, it can be quickly canceled/linked to another skill depending on the situation, or into Cap’n’s Orders: Cease Fire!
