Guild Elephants are important and every guild that is doing node wars needs the Tier 2 (Cadria) elephant and elephant gear to be competitive. During a node war, one member will be the rider for the guild elephant and this may be used to help defend, or to attack an enemy base. Guilds can have up to 3 elephants but will need a guild house and certain guild skills to raise them.
This guide will go over how to capture and raise the elephant as well as how to craft the gear for it.
There is also a questline you can do to get the Valencia Elephant which is the Tier 1 Guild Elephant and can be used to make the Tier 2 Cadria Elephant. The questline can be found in the Suggestion tab of your Quest window (O) and is called “[Guild] Gathering everyone’s strength”. The quest can only be completed by the Guild Master.
Capturing a Baby Elephant
Any guild member can go and catch a Baby Elephant.
- You will need to buy Peanuts from a Stable Keeper (most stable keepers in Valencia should sell them) or Guild Stable Manager.
- These will cost 50,000 silver each and I would recommend buying at least 3.
- You will also need to buy capturing ropes from a Stable Keeper. Depending on how much experience you’ve had with catching horses, buy between 3 – 10 ropes.
Elephants spawn in locations shown below (click the image to enlarge):
Once you have found an elephant you can begin to capture one. Be careful of nearby mother elephants because they will come to attack you when you throw the rope. It is safer to kill the larger elephants before attempting to capture the baby, they don’t do a lot of damage, but have a lot of knockdowns which can be annoying.
When you are ready, right-click the capturing rope to use it. Aim the rope and left-click to throw it. A bar will show up on the right and you need to press the space bar and land it in the red area of the bar. You cannot let the bar go up and down, you only have one chance to land it in the area. If you miss the area or don’t press the space bar you will lose the capturing rope.
If you manage to get the rope over the elephant’s head you will now be able to start moving towards the elephant using W, A, S, and D. If you see the elephant start to pull away from you, press the space bar to start the mini-game. If you do not press the space bar in time you will lose the elephant and have to try again.
To win the mini-game you will need to repeatedly press the space bar for 10 seconds. When the 10 seconds are over you need to make sure it is on the “winning” side of the bar at the top. Repeat this process until you are close enough to feed the elephant the peanuts you bought.
Once you have given the elephant the Peanuts, you can now tame the elephant. If you are unsuccessful the baby elephant will kick you and run away. If this happens you will have to start the process again. If you are successful, the baby elephant will start to follow you.
Bring the elephant to the Guild Stable Keeper in Valencia and click on the ‘Register’ button.
The baby elephant will then be exchanged for an item that you can put in the Guild Storage. The item will appear in your inventory and will weigh 800Lt, put it in the Guild Storage nearby.
Obtaining a Guild House
Now that you have your baby elephant in your guild storage, you will need to raise the elephant in a Guild House.
Note: Only Guild Houses in Valencia can raise a baby elephant.
You will also need the following Guild Skills to raise the Elephant and craft Elephant gear:
Fully Prepared (5 skill points)
Monstrous Force I (10 skill points)
Monstrous Force II (2 skill points)
Guild Houses are obtained by participating in the Guild House Auction.
A guild house auction takes place every 2 weeks on Fridays at 16:00 CET for EU, and 16:00 EST/13:00 PDT for NA.
The auction lasts 24 hours and the guild master must place a bid at the Guild Manager NPC using the guild funds. You can place up to 3 bids but it is a blind auction, meaning you can’t see what price other guilds have set. If you are the highest bid, you will get a message saying “Your bid of x Silver has been placed as the highest bid”.
If you win the auction then your guild now owns the house for 2 weeks. You must also pay a maintenance fee every day at midnight, this fee is automatically taken from your guild funds and depends on the price you bid for the house. If you were unsuccessful in the auction then you can retrieve your bid by speaking to the Guild Manager NPC.
Raising the Baby Elephant
Now that you have the Guild House and Baby Elephant in your Guild Storage, you need to collect the rest of the materials.
All guild members can help collect the materials and process them in the Guild House.
After collecting all the materials needed, make sure they are in the Guild Storage and that you have at least level 1 Elephant Nursery at the Guild House. The Guild Master can then Craft the Valencia Elephant (Tier 1).
To do this, open the Guild Window (G) then go to the Guild Crafting tab. Click “Select Product” and then the “[Guild] Valencia Elephant” option.
You will then be able to select all the materials in your Guild Storage and create the Elephant. This will take 24 hours to craft.
Note: Make sure you DO NOT register the Valencia Elephant because you will need it to craft the Cadria Elephant (Tier 2)
Upgrading to Cadria Elephant (Tier 2)
To create the Tier 2 elephant, you will need a Guild House and the materials listed below. It is the same process as making the first tier but more materials are needed. You will also need a [Guild] Registration: Valencia Elephant so make sure you do not register the tier 1 mount, otherwise, you will have to catch one again and start from scratch.
All guild members can help collect the materials and process them in the Guild House.
After collecting all the materials, make sure they are in the Guild Storage and that you have at least level 1 Elephant Nursery at the Guild House. The Guild Master can then Craft the upgraded Elephant using the same process as before.
Open the Guild Window (G) then go to the Guild Crafting tab. Click “Select Product” and then the “[Guild] Valencia Elephant” option.
You will then be able to select all the materials in your Guild Storage and create the Elephant. Once again, this will take 24 hours to craft, and the [Guild] Registration: Cadria Elephant token will go into the Guild Storage. You can then take this to a Guild Stable Keeper and register the mount.
The Elephant will start off with 3 skills.
Elephant Gear
Once you have your Cadria Elephant you will need to craft gear for it. For this, you will need the Level 2 Elephant Nursery at your Guild House.
Elephant gear can also be enhanced up to +5 using Black Stone (Armor) and can also be force enhanced.
You must then use Concentrated Magical Black Stone (Armor) to enhance after +5 up to +10.
Below is a breakdown of the gear and a list of all the materials you will need to craft the gear.

This shopping list below is the total materials need for a Tier 2 Elephant AND all the T2 gear.
