Enroachment Barrier Update

  • The rewards of the Encroaching Barrier content have been changed as follows.

Guild War Dec Change

  • It has been changed so that all guilds can declare war unconditionally to a guild that does not own a node.

The system in which it is impossible to declare war on non-node war guilds was introduced as a way to protect new adventurers and guilds that are just starting out. There was room for some adventurers to abuse it in the opposite way, but in terms of protection, it meant a lot more so we kept it. However, with the addition of the recently introduced war declaration rule change and the addition of the sheriff system scheduled to be updated on the official server, the system for protection has been further strengthened.


Node/Siege War Changes

On May 4th (Tue), a new passive skill has been added that can be acquired by exchanging brilliant honorary medals on the Korean official server.
Accordingly, additional rewards for participation were in progress even before the war, but information that has not yet been updated on the official server has been announced.
As a result, we apologize for the inconvenience to all guilds who participated in the occupation before the occupation on Saturday, May 8th, as we recognized that the reward for participation in the war could be obtained.
Guild members who participated in the war before the occupation on Saturday, May 8th will receive a reward corresponding to victory/loss through a letter (B) when the reward for participation in the occupation is updated on the official Korean server.
We are working hard to allow more adventurers to enjoy the Node/Siege War, so we thank you for your interest.
  •  A personal reward for Node War, the’Glorious Medal of Honor’ has been added.
    • Adventurers who belong to the guild and participated in the node/siege war can receive a personal reward, the’Glorious Medal of Honor’ item by clicking the participation reward button after the war is over. (Rewards can be obtained only after the war of all provinces that the guild participated in.)
    • If you do not receive the participation reward after the end of the war, you will not be able to apply for participation before the next war.
    • The number of’Glorious Honorary Medal’ obtained in the war is as follows.

  • ※ Among the scores for each field, the destruction of the command post means the destruction of the stronghold/command post/field command during the war.
  • When the participation reward is received, the item with the following buff effect is paid to the adventurer of the 1st place in the activity of the victory guild.
    • Reward for 1st place in victory activity: Glory of the battlefield (500 increase in health for 4 hours)
    • This item has an expiration date of 24 hours after acquisition, and cannot be used when the expiration period expires.
  • Fixed a problem where the siege defense tower was intermittently not visible when a non-participant was hit by the siege defense tower during the occupation war.
  • Fixed the phenomenon that the appearance of the siege defense tower installed by the guild in the alliance was not exposed to adventurers who did not press the “participation” button of the guild that installed the command post.
  • It has been changed to include the damage of large ships in the attack power limit of the first stage base battle.
    • The attack power limit for the first stage base battle applies to the large ship’s attack skill and gunfire damage, and is only applied when hitting a character.
    • If there are multiple Tier 1 bases in which the guild is participating, the damage limit is applied to the base closest to the large ship.

  • The ability to preview the equipment and items held in the bag has been added for vehicles not found in the stables.

  • When connecting a horse to a carriage, it has been improved so that you can check the sex of the horse in the horse list.
  • When using the pad-only UI, the phenomenon that the key guide of the’Recently Successful Ingredient List’ that does not actually work when you select a cooking/alchemy item without knowledge has been corrected.

System Changes

  •  In certain situations, the phenomenon that the game ends when entering the game start screen and server selection screen has been corrected.

Bug Fixes

  •  Fixed a phenomenon in which a certain NPC’s intimacy was initialized to 0 and exposed intermittently during reconnection and server movement.
    • The actual value of the NPC’s intimacy does not change before and after the modification.
  • Fixed a problem where the guild elephant board could not be called when holding the horn of a thousand horses.
    • The guild elephant ride can be called within a maximum distance of 50 regardless of the possession of the item calling the vehicle.
  • A typo in the UI that is exposed when you right-click and the item description of the special set meal box has been corrected.
  • The phenomenon that the title and challenge (Y) in the My Information (P) window were opened together when clicking the title notification has been corrected. 
  • Fixed a problem where an abnormal message was displayed when using the steel gathering tool in certain situations.
  • The phenomenon that the terrain of the abandoned iron mine base area was unnaturally exposed in the world map (M) window has been corrected.
  • The phenomenon that the background was unnaturally exposed at a specific location of the fountain of Drigan Territory’s origin has been corrected.

Class Changes

In today’s Black Desert Lab, PvE-related improvements for all classes were in progress. Until recently, we have focused on improving the PvE side of each character’s action linkage or skill utilization, but today we have focused on increasing the overall damage amount based on the data accumulated since the items were applied. As a result, PvE damage for most characters has increased. (However, please note that there are cases where there is no adjustment in the case of succession or awakening of some characters.) We will continue to work hard to make each character more enjoyable. Thank you.

In the case of the Succession Ranger, the concept aspect has also been reinforced along with the increase in the damage amount of some skills. Now, by using Call of the Earth, small spirits with that energy can gain strength to deal more damage. Spirits that gain strength remain in the form of character buffs for 60 seconds after using the skill, the same as the Call of the Earth Cooldown (Stage 10).

  •  It has been improved to allow the attack in the direction the character is looking at when linking with the Wind Blade skill after using a specific skill.
The Awakening Ranger was not included in this Black Desert Lab, but Regeneration details will be updated on the next week’s official server. Now, when you use Regeneration, the seed of nature will remain in its place, and if you use other skills (Wailing Wind, Elven Rage, Wind Blade, Vine Knot, Nature’s Tremble), vines will grow and damage in that place. Can deal (Regeneration Damage + 100% Critical Hit-Monster Only). It can be used directly in conjunction, or it can be used in the form of bursting with a back attack aiming at the back of the target depending on the situation. However, this effect is applied only once (once per Regeneration).

Succession Berserkers tend to play mainly in Prime: Raging Thunder, Feral Rage and then Prime: Frenzy’s Destroyer. This play is maintained, but in order to give a little more variety (option), we have increased the damage amount of Prime: Final Strike, Prime: Beastly Wind Slash, so that even without Prime: Frenzied Destroyer, you can deal with the remaining opponents.

  • The cooldown of the Verdict: Lancia Iustitiae IV skill has been reduced from 21 seconds to 17 seconds.
In the case of the Awakening Valkyrie, Sentence: The Lancia of Justice skill is the core and signature, but compared to the past, it was judged that its unique destructive power and influence were somewhat faded. Therefore, while increasing the damage amount of this skill, we also reduced the cooldown time of the skill so that the frequency of use of the shield throw can be reduced slightly.   • The bug that was activated only when switching awakening while using the Ghost Claw and Ghost Slash skill has been improved so that it can be activated while the character is moving.
After using the Awakening Ninja, Sword: Sword, Heavy Rain, and Lee Dragon, they switched to their main weapon (especially in order to catch the monsters) and continued their ties. To compensate for this, the so-called’double sword’ posture has been changed. Now, if you use the Immoral Sword Dance, Short Life Cham, Surananmu, and Seamless Seam techniques in this position, you will be able to penetrate the monsters and aim at the back a little more easily. In addition, the damage amount of the existing flagship technologies has been increased, so that the more you set your posture for fashion, the greater the pleasure of returning.

    In the case of Lahn, we have increased the range of application along with reducing the cooldown time of Stately Dignity to make monster pulling easier.     Archer possesses the PvE ability with the flesh in full bloom as the core, but there were some restrictions on the hunting ground. To compensate for this, the damage of the overall technology has been increased so that it can replace flesh that is in full bloom even from a distance. In addition, in the hunting grounds that mainly hunt down attack, Sylvia’s spear technology has been improved so that higher damage can be achieved.
