Global Lab Patch Notes – 22nd October 2021

The class reboots will be released on the live servers once they are completed for all the classes.
Before using the skills of rebooted classes on the Black Desert Global Lab, please make sure to reset your character’s skills to minimize any possible issues.
Patch notes related to the class reboot on the Black Desert Global Lab will be translated to other languages and released afterward.

Musa/Maehwa

Main Weapon

  • When using the Chase skill, the starting motion of the skill has been changed so that the falling motion does not appear.
  • Even if you succeed in defending during the casting of the Retaliation stance, the Retaliation skill has been changed so that it does not automatically activate.
  • Stub Arrow skill has been changed as follows.
    • It has been changed so that it cannot be used by registering it in the skill slot.
    • It has been changed so that it cannot be used during the cooldown period.
    • The first time you use the skill, you can create and hold an arrow.
    • After that, when you use the skill again, you can fire up to the number of arrows you have.
    • * As a result, the cooldown has been changed to apply after the last arrow was fired.
    • It has been changed so that you can use the Chase skill with W/S + right-click after using the Stub Arrow: Evasive Shot skill
  • Stub Arrow: Double Shot skill has been changed as follows.
    • Changed to a passive skill.
    • If you use the Stub Arrow skill when you acquire the skill, the number of arrows you create will increase by 1.
  • Stub Arrow: Triple Shot Skills have been deleted.
  • Stub Arrow: Evasive Shot, Charged Stub Arrow: Evasion skill has been changed as follows.
    • Stamina cost changed from 150 to 200.
    • Charged Stub Arrow: Evasion skill has been deleted and Stub Arrow: Evasive Shot skill has been integrated.
    • It can be activated only when there is a side battle that you have using the side-by-side skill.
    • Cooldown changed from 4 seconds to 12 seconds.
    • The Charged Stub Arrow has been changed to fire immediately when activated while in use.
  • Charged Stub Arrow skills have been changed as follows.
    • The attack method has been changed from firing a projectile to a penetrating attack. The damage of the skill has been changed accordingly.
    • The charging has been changed so that it cannot be stopped.
    • After all hits have been applied, it has been changed so that it can be linked with other skills.
    • It has been changed to not be able to move while using the skill, and it has been changed to be able to move only by Stub Arrow: Evasive Shot
Charged Stub Arrow skills have been changed to be utilized in new ways. By making a side-by-side battle in advance and firing it when you want, you can play anomalous. In addition, the attack methods of the special warfare and pyeonjeon are different so that they can be used according to the situation.
  • Arrow Grapple skill has been changed as follows.
    • The behavior of the skill has been changed.
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
    • It has been changed so that it can be activated even if the attack is not successful with Stub Arrow: Evasive Shot or Charged Stub Arrow skills.
    • A stun effect has been added upon successful hitting.
    • Added to be able to link after ascending kick, cut kick, cut kick, and turn kick hit.

Awakening

  •  The duration of invincibility applied when using the Chase skill in the awakening state has been increased by 0.2 seconds.
  • The movement distance has been increased when using the Chase skill forward in the awakening state.
Unlike the chase that can be used in the main weapon state, the chase used in the musa and maehwa awakening state cannot use the so-called ‘pyeongcan pursuit’, so it was not possible to quickly approach the opponent. Accordingly, we have increased the movement distance of the pursuit skill so that you can approach the opponent as quickly as ‘Pyeongcan Pursuit’ even in the awakened state.

Musa

Main Weapon

  • The description of the Chase skill has been changed to match the actual effect.
  • Ultimate: Rising Storm skill has been deleted and its effect has been changed to be included in the Rising Storm skill.
  • The Ultimate: Chase skill has been deleted and its effect has been changed to be included in the Chase skill.
  • The Quick Shot skill has been deleted and all defense reduction effects are applied when a successful hit with the Whirlwind Cut: Grinder skill is applied. 
  • The description of the Whirlwind Cut skill has been changed to match the actual action.
  • The Carver skill has been changed as follows.
    • Improvements have been made so that the skill is activated with the same action in any situation when using the Carver skill.
    • The additional hit has been removed and the damage of the skill has been adjusted.
    • Movement distance has been increased.
  • Carver: Typhoon skill has been changed as follows.
    • Cooldown changed from 13 seconds to 8 seconds.
    • All existing hit damage has been deleted.
    • Improvements have been made so that the additional blow of Cyclone Slash is activated for each skill when acquiring a skill.
    • Cyclone Slash I skill has been added to the prior skill.
Gaksu, Gaksu: The typhoon skill was a skill to quickly enter and raise. Here, the movement has been simplified so that the samurai can hit and fall more brilliantly, and the gaksu: typhoon skill has been changed to a form that further strengthens the gaksu skill.
  • Gale skill has been changed as follows.
    • The maximum fighting spirit damage added to the last hit has been removed.
    • The attack range of the Gale skill has been changed, and all attack power increases have been added when using skills.
  • The skill Divider, Absolute: Divider skill has been changed so that it does not activate while the ↓ key is pressed.
  • After the Absolute: Blind Thrust skill, the additional action that is triggered when holding space or right-clicking has been removed.
  • Arrow Grapple skill has been added so that it can be linked after the Prime: Backstep Slash, Prime: Divider, and the Prime: Fiery Angel skills.

 

Succession

Musa Succession is a concept that uses the necessary skills in the right place by utilizing the effects of dazzling hit and miss, calm mind skills. Improvements have been made in the direction to further emphasize this.
  • The Prime: Serene Mind skill has been changed as follows.
    •  When there is a serene mind effect, the additional effects applied when using Succession: Rising Storm: Blaze, Prime: Gale, Prime: Blooming have been integrated into the basic effects of these skills.
    • From the skills that are applied with the serene mental effect, Prime: Cyclone Slash has been removed and Prime: Crust Crusher skill has been added.
    • Now, the effect of the serene mind skill will consume the serene mind effect and only the effect that can be activated remains when the skill Succession: Rising Storm: Blaze, Prime: Gale, Prime: Blooming, Prime: Crust Crusher skills are on cooldown.
We’ve improved the effect of the Tranquil Mind by simply changing it to reduce the number of things to consider while fighting. In addition, the effect of the Prime: whirlwind, which is ambiguous to receive the effect of the calm mind, has been changed so that the Prime: dragon flame skill receives the effect of the calm mind so that you can play more diversely.
  • Prime: Carver skill has been changed as follows.
    • The additional hit has been removed and the damage of the skill has been adjusted.
    • Movement distance has been increased.
    • All defense reduction effects have been increased from 15 to 20.
    • Improvements have been made so that the skill can be linked with the Gale skill after using it.
  • Prime: Gale skills have been changed as follows.
    • The distance traveled by 3 hits has been increased.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    • The knockback and rotation effects upon successful hitting have been removed.
    • The floating effect of 1 hit has been changed to apply only to monsters.
    • Changed to apply super armor to all skills
    • All evasion rate reduction effects have been changed to apply to 1st and 2nd hits.
    • The critical hit rate has been changed to apply in PvP.
    • Changed so that down attack is applied on all hits.
    • It has been improved so that it can be linked with 3 hits while using the pursuit skill.
  • Prime: Cyclone Slash has been changed as follows.
    • The effect of the skill Serene Mind is no longer applied. Accordingly, it has been changed to obtain a serene mind effect when hitting a successful hit with the Prime: Cyclone Slash skill.
    • It has been changed so that it can be activated during the cooldown period.
    • The attack range of additional hits has been increased.
    • The skill’s critical hit rate has been changed to apply equally.
    • Prime: Carver,Prime: Gale After 3 hits, left-clicking has been improved so that it can be linked.
    • It has been changed so that it cannot be used by registering it in the skill slot.
  • Prime: Blooming skill has been changed as follows.
    • The first cast action has been removed. Accordingly, the invincibility effect at the start of the skill has been removed. 
    • Improvements have been made so that it can be linked smoothly after the Prime: Gale skill. 
    • The attack range has been adjusted so that all hits are applied regardless of distance. Accordingly, the PvP damage reduction rate has been increased.
    • The stun effect on a successful hit has been changed to a stun effect on a successful additional hit
  • Prime: Rising Storm skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    • Cooldown has been changed from 9 seconds to 7 seconds based on IV level
  • Succession: Rising Storm: Blaze skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased. 
    • The attack range has been adjusted so that all hits are applied regardless of distance
  • Prime: Divider skill has been changed as follows
    • The additional blow has been changed to be activated only when the E key is pressed.
    • The critical hit rate has been changed to apply in PvP.
    • Air Attack has been changed to be applied on all hits.
    • The effect that pushes the opponent away upon a successful hit has been removed.
    • The effect of recovering life equal to the maximum fighting spirit has been changed to the effect of recovering life for each hit when a successful hit.
    • 20 effects have been added to decrease all defenses upon successful hitting.
    • Stiffness on successful 2 hits has been changed to Float on successful 1 hits.
  • Prime: Retaliation has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range of the first hit has been changed to be the same as the attack range of the additional hit that is applied when the skill of Retaliation: Decapitation is acquired. 
    • The damage of the first hit has been changed to be the same as the additional hit damage that is applied when the skill Retaliation: Decapitation is acquired. 
    • Cooldown changed from 15 seconds to 10 seconds. 
    • Prime: Divider 2 hit , Prime: Backstep Slash has been improved to be able to link
  • Prime: Blind Slash skill’s striking range and additional hitting range have been changed to be the same as the widest range.
  • Prime: Crust Crusher skill has been changed as follows.
    • As the skill of Serene Mind can be activated during the cooldown, it has been changed so that the effect of Serene Mind cannot be obtained upon successful hitting.
    • The movement speed reduction effect upon successful hitting has been removed
  • Prime: Fiery Angel skill has been changed as follows.
    • Improvements have been made to make it easier to change direction while using skills.

 

Awakening

Musa Awakening was focused on reducing the feeling of having to use the main weapon skill as a mainstay. In addition, we wanted to utilize the samurai’s strength in pursuit, to create a feeling of being able to quickly move between enemies and stir up and down.
  • Flow: The Ongchu slicing skill has been deleted and changed to 염환참 skill.

 

  • Eradicate skill has been changed as follows.
    • The operation keys for skills have been changed to ↑ + E keys.
    • The effect of reducing the number of hits during PvP has been removed. PvP damage has been adjusted accordingly.
  •   Flow: Dash Slash skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    • Additional hit damage and hit damage have been changed to be the same. PvP damage has been adjusted accordingly.
    • Super Armor effect has been removed.
    • Changed so that the critical hit rate is applied to all hits.
    • All defense reduction effects have been increased from 15 to 20.
    • Cooldown changed from 8 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • Knockdown effect has been added upon successful hitting.
  • Fiery Angel skill has been changed as follows.
    • The floating effect upon successful hitting has been changed to apply only to monsters.
    • Super Armor effect has been added while using skills.
    • Changed character to ignore collision while moving.
    • The attack has been changed so that it does not trigger when it collides with an enemy while moving.
Flow: The super armor effect of the assault skill has been transferred to the superheat skill, and it has been changed to a skill that allows you to quickly escape if you are surrounded by monsters or in the middle of an enemy in a PvP situation. Instead, the flow: Strike skill has been changed to a skill that can target knockdown and all defense reduction effects during combos.
  • Fiery Crevice skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    • It has been changed so that it cannot be activated during the cooldown period. 
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
    •  Critical hit chance has been changed to be applied in PvP, and it has been changed to increase with level.
    •  The bound effect has been changed to a knockdown effect.
As the knockdown effect in the Dragon Flame skill is changed so that it does not apply in PvP, the Extreme Cleave skill has been changed to a knockdown skill. In addition, instead of being unusable during the cooldown, we have changed it to a skill that can inflict more powerful damage.
  • Spinner skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range of some hits has been increased.
    • The attack speed increase effect when using a skill has been changed to a critical hit rate increase effect.
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
    • A down smash effect has been added to the last hit.
    • Continuous activation speed has been increased.
    • Improvements have been made to smoothly link to other skills after using a skill.
    • The knockback effect on successful hit has been removed.
    • The floating of 1 hit has been removed and changed to stun on successful 2 hits.
    • The bug in which only 7 hits were applied to the last hit of a banquet hit in a different posture has been fixed.
  • Crosscut skills have been changed as follows.
    • The skill description has been changed to match the actual action.
    • 1st hit and 2nd hit damage has been changed to be the same.
    • fighting spirit has been changed to recover at the last hit. The amount of recovery has been increased accordingly.
    • The attack range of one hit has been changed to attack all around the character.
    • The number of hits during the cooldown has been changed so that it does not decrease.
    • The effect of increasing the critical strike chance applied when using 2 hits has been changed to the effect of increasing the attack speed when using the skill.
    • The stiffness effect applied in the 2nd hit has been changed to a floating effect when acquiring Core: Crosscut.
    • When the skill of Projection III is acquired, sword strike is added to activate in 2 hits.
    • When locking the Whirlwind Cut skill, the Crosscut skill has been changed so that it can be activated in the pre-awakening state
  • The Crust Crusher skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    •  The knockdown effect has been changed to apply only to monsters.
    • The front guard effect has been changed so that it is maintained until the hit enters.
    • The effect of reducing the number of PvP hits has been removed. Accordingly, the PvP damage reduction rate has been increased.
    • Cooldown has been changed from 17 seconds to 12 seconds based on IV level.
    • The character rotates according to the camera direction before the attack is applied.
    • Improvements have been made so that the Spinner and One Step Back skill activates smoothly after 1 hit
    • It has been improved so that it can be linked with the Chase skill immediately after the attack.
    • Down smash has been added.
The dragon flame skill was a skill that utilizes the front guard before attack and the knockdown effect that goes into the attack. As it is the most powerful damage skill among the warrior skills, the moment the front guard disappears, if you are attacked and fail to deal damage, the loss is very large. Accordingly, the front guard effect has been changed to be applied to all skills except for the knockdown effect. In addition, after some skills, the dragon flame skill can be used quickly, increasing its utility as a skill that inflicts powerful damage.
  •  Improved to allow the character to rotate in the direction of the camera before the attack is applied when using the Flow: Foul Play skill.
  • The One Step Back skill has been changed as follows.
    • Cooldown changed from 9 seconds to 5 seconds.
    • Skill activation speed has been increased.
    • Changed so that collisions do not apply while moving. However, collisions apply during the cooldown.
    • The distance to move backwards has been increased.
    • The stiffness effect upon successful hitting has been removed.
    • Movement speed reduction effect has been added upon successful hitting.
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
    • The attack range has been changed to increase the attack range when acquiring Projection III.
    • It has been changed to add a sword effect when acquiring Projection III.
  • Projection skill has been changed as follows.
    • Skill activation speed has been increased.
    • Summoned sword strike has been removed. Summoning Swordsmanship has been changed to be added to other skills when acquiring the Projection III level skill.
    • Additional damage that the character directly attacks has been added.
    • Added to apply a stiffening effect upon additional hits.
    • Added to apply air attack.
    • Improvements have been made so that the skills can be smoothly linked with the following skills, after using the following skills: Chase, Fiery Angel, Twister, Musa Spirit, Skill Enhancement, Fiery Crevice, Counter Assassination, and One Step Back.
  • Flow: Extra Credit skill has been changed as follows.
    • The damage of the skill has been changed in the same way as the Projection skill.
    • Cooldown changed from 12 seconds to 10 seconds. 
    • Improved so that the Flow: Extra Credit skill can be activated separately when the Projection skill is on cooldown. 
    • Improvements have been made so that the skills can be smoothly linked with the following skills, after using the following skills: Chase, Fiery Angel, Twister, Musa Spirit, Skill Enhancement, Fiery Crevice, Counter Assassination, and One Step Back.
The blast chain skill has been renewed as a skill that can replace the sidekick in the awakened state. In addition, the existing swordsmanship can be used in other skills once the level III is acquired, so that it can be used frequently.
  • Flow: Backflow skill has been changed as follows.
    • The effect of reducing the number of hits during PvP has been removed. Accordingly, the PvP damage reduction rate has been increased.
    • Cooldown changed from 12 seconds to 7 seconds.
    • It has been changed so that the skill can be activated at any time when the operation key is pressed.
    • Air attack has been added.
    • A sword effect that is activated when the skill of Projection III is acquired has been added.
  • Twister skill has been changed as follows.
    • Stamina cost changed from 150 to 100.
    • Cooldown changed from 2 seconds to 4 seconds.
    • The effect of reducing the number of hits during PvP has been removed.
    • The critical hit rate has been changed to apply in PvP as well. Accordingly, the PvP damage reduction rate has been increased.
    • The effect of reducing the number of hits during the cooldown has been removed.
    • Damage has been changed so that the damage is not reduced during the cooldown.
    • Air Attack has been improved to be applied during cooldown.
  • The Counter Assassination skill has been changed as follows.
    • The additional blow has been changed to only trigger when the Q key is held.
    • The stun effect upon successful counterattack has been removed.
    • Attack speed and casting speed reduction effects have been added upon successful hitting.
The return charm skill was a skill that utilized forward guards and stuns. This has been changed to a skill that makes it easier for the warrior to make the next attack by slowing down the opponent’s speed rather than knocking out a successful counterattack while the defense check is empty due to the opponent’s mistake in a PvP situation.
  • Below the Belt skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased.
    • Critical hit chance has been changed to be applied in all hits.
  • Musa’s Resolve skills have been changed as follows.
    • Strike damage has been changed to be applied in PvP as well. The skill damage has been adjusted accordingly.
    • All attack power increase effects have been added when using skills.
    • Cooldown changed from 20 seconds to 9 seconds.
    • An effect that draws the attention of nearby enemies has been added when using a skill.
    • Changed from stamina consumption to fighting spirit consumption skill.

Maehwa

Main Weapon

  • The following skills have been removed and merged with the base effects of the original skills.
    • Ultimate Chaos: Red Moon
    • Ultimate: Chase
  • The bug that Super Armor was not applied at the end of the Chase II skill when moving backwards has been corrected.
  • Whirlwind Cut skill has been changed as follows.
    • The skill description has been modified to match the actual action.
    • Damage has been adjusted. Accordingly, the PvP damage has been changed to decrease.
    • The attack range to the left and right has been increased.
  • Ultimate: Whirlwind Cut skill has been changed as follows.
    • The stiffness effect upon successful hitting has been removed.
    • The last hit has been changed to a skill that applies the damage of the Chaos: Red Moon skill
  •   The Whirlwind Cut: Cyclone skill has been changed as follows.
    • Changed to a passive skill that adds additional damage from all stone slash hits when acquiring a skill.
    • The acquisition level has been changed to level 50.
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
Maehwa uses the stone cutting skill to move to the rear of the enemy and change the stone cutting skill and its flow skills so that it can inflict high damage. In particular, in the case of succession, we have made it possible to use it as a main skill when acquiring the Prime: stone cutting skill.
  • Whirlwind Cut: Grinder skill has been deleted and all defense reduction effects have been added to the Whirlwind Cut skill.
  • Chaos: Red Moon skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range of 1, 3 hits has been increased. 
    • The attack range of the last hit has been changed to attack all around the character. 
    • The phenomenon that the air attack was applied in the last hit has been fixed.
  • Maehwa: Ascension to Heaven skill has been changed as follows.
    • All hit damage has been removed. 
    • Upon skill acquisition: The movement and attack range of the Chaos: Red Moon skill have been changed. 
    • Floating from 3 hits is not applied when acquiring skills. 
    • In PvP: The number of hits of the Chaos: Red Moon skill has been reduced.
Plum Blossom: Ascension skill has been changed to a skill that allows the Tribulation: Red Moon skill to be activated in a different form. Deploys the Tribulation: Red Moon skill at a much faster rate, allowing it to inflict high damage.
  • The Carver skill has been changed as follows.
    • Movement distance has been increased. 
    • It has been changed so that when using the skill, the attack will be activated by immediately charging.
  • Carver: Typhoon skill has been changed as follows.
    • The attack range has been increased. 
    • Cooldown time has been removed.
    • The damage of the skill itself and the additional damage of the maximum fighting spirit have been removed and the damage of each skill has been changed. 
    • Knockdown has been removed and down smash has been added. 
    • Changed to apply down attack.
  • The Backstab skill has been changed as follows.
    • Cooldown changed from 12 seconds to 20 seconds.
    • Skill activation speed has been increased.
    • The stun on successful hit has been removed.
    • The knockback effect on successful hit has been removed.
    • Skill damage has been adjusted.
    • The phenomenon that the air attack was applied has been fixed.
    • It has been changed so that the number of hits does not increase even if you win.
  • It has been added so that the Backstep Slash and Prime: Backstep Slash skills can be linked after Prime: Stigma.
  • The skill of Maehwa’s Will has been changed so that it cannot be used by registering it in the skill slot.
  • Ultimate: Maehwa: Decapitation skill has been deleted.
 

Succession

The Maehwa Succession has been improved to make it easier to use the red sword. We made it possible to keep the state of the red sword constantly, so that it can consistently inflict damage in PvE. In PvP, we have added the Spirit of Succession: Plum Blossom skill so that you can turn off the red sword state when you want it and kill it, so you can use the red sword state if you need it.
  • The red sword effect has been changed as follows.
    • The effects of increasing all attack power and increasing accuracy obtained when using 2 or 1 red petals using the Prime: Dragon Bite, Prime: Divider skills have been removed.
    • The above effect has been changed so that it can be obtained at the same time as the red sword state.
    • The duration of the red sword has been changed to be renewed when using Prime: Decapitation while the red sword effect is in effect. At this time, all attack power and all hit rate increase effects were also updated.
    • The description of the skill activated in the state of red sword has been separated.
    • Among the skills that are strengthened when the red sword is in the state, Prime: Dragon Bite has been excluded and changed to Prime: Divider skill. Now, if you use the Prime: Divider  skill in the state of the red sword, the effect that was previously triggered in the Prime: Dragon Bite skill has been applied.
    • Changed so that the red sword state is canceled when using the Succession: Maehwa’s Will
  • The skill that can be used after acquiring the Absolute: Maehwa’s Will and Succession: Maehwa’s Will has been added.
    • You can use the Maehwa’s Will skill during the cooldown. In this case, the amount of fighting spirit recovery is reduced.
    • When used in the state of red sword, the state of red sword is canceled and life is restored. However, it does not apply when the Maehwa’s Will skill is on cooldown.
When there are 1 or 2 red petals, it has been changed to obtain all the buffs at once when entering the state of red sword from the method of obtaining a complex buff effect using the Prime: cut, Prime: reverse skill. In addition, we have made it possible to select and use the red sword state by removing the red sword state with the skill of Succession: Plum Blossom and obtaining a strengthening effect.
  • Prime: Whirlwind Cut skill has been changed as follows.
    • The duration of the super armor effect applied in the last 3 hits has been increased by 0.4 seconds.
    •  The attack range is increased when the skill is acquired, and additional damage is applied with the damage of the Prime: Whirlwind Cut skill. Also changed to apply during cooldown.
    • As the Whirlwind Cut: Grinder skill is deleted, the effect of reducing all defense -20 has been added.

  • Prime: Blind Thrust skill has been changed as follows.
    • The additional hit that is triggered when using the space bar or right-clicking after using the skill has been removed.
    • The attack range applied for all Blind Thrust moves has been changed to be the same as the range applied when used forward.

  • The endurance consumption of continuous stabs has been reduced when using the Prime: Dragon Bite skill.
  • Prime: Decapitation skills have been changed as follows.
    • Strike damage has been changed to be the same as additional hit damage. 
    • The number of additional hits that increase only at IV level has been changed to apply at all levels. 
    • The effect of reducing the number of hits in PvP has been removed. PvP damage has been adjusted accordingly. 
    • The damage reduction effect during the cooldown has been reduced.
    • Super Armor has been changed to apply even when only additional hits are activated in the state of red sword.
    • Changed so that the stun effect is not applied when activated in the red sword state.
    • The movement speed of the skill has been increased when it is activated in the state of Tiger Blade and Red Sword.

Awakening focused on breaking away from the tenacious spear blade – New Year’s Eve-focused PvE approach. In PvP, we made it possible to utilize combos through knockdown through Flow: Frostflower skill. Flow: Even if you can’t hit the Cloud Stab skill properly, you can use the combo with another skill. In addition, we plan to integrate Flow: Changwol skill into Frostfire skill, and add new skill to empty positions.

Wizard/Witch

The Succession Wizard and the Succession Witch have the same skill composition, but there is a difference in the way they link skills through the Passive Prime: Elemental Flow. In this common part, improvements have been made in the direction of strengthening the difference in the fighting method using the Prime: Elemental Flow effect a little more, and skills with low utilization have been upgraded.

  • Prime: Aqua Jail Explosion skill has been changed as follows.
    • Improvements have been made so that it can be used without a casting action when used as a control key after space movement and magic movement. 
    • When using a skill without a casting action, all damage is applied.
    • * However, the evasion rate reduction effect does not apply in this case.
The existing Prime: Aqua Jail Explosion was a difficult skill to use because of its long cast time. In order to improve this part, it has been modified so that the skill is activated quickly when used in conjunction with the Prime: water curtain explosion skill.
  •  The attack method of the Prime: Bolide of Destruction has been changed so that the attack is applied where it is aimed, rather than attacking the designated location.

 

We have changed the fireball of destruction to a long-distance skill that hits the targeted point rather than attacking a certain location. You can now fireballs of doom at enemies even from long distances out of sight, maximizing ranged combat.
  • Prime: Blizzard: Domain skill has been improved to activate faster when using the Prime: Elemental Palace effect

Wizard

In wizard the case of awakening, he uses destruction magic using elements of fire and water, and is an attractive battle wizard that specializes in short/medium range rather than long range. In this reboot, while improving the characteristics of these awakening wizards to make them more prominent, we have added new skills to make them more survivable than they are now.

First of all, new skills ‘Baptism of Water’ and ‘Call of Fire’ have been added. Since this skill is a skill that can be used at medium range rather than close range, synergy with existing skills allows you to create more diverse fighting styles than now at mid/short range. In addition, a skill called ‘Elementalization’ that can dodge backwards has been added. Currently, the Awakening Wizard plays the so-called ‘Fire Moth’ play, which concentrates fire power using catastrophe and fire after moving through space.

Succession Wizard has been improved to enable faster linkages in certain skills so that the fighting style can be more diverse than it is now.

Chilling Wave is a relatively long skill with a long cast time, but it has no defense rolls, so it was very risky to use (especially in PvP). To make this effect a little easier and more frequent, we removed the effect from Cold Wave and added it to ‘Call of Fire’.
  • Flow: Aqua Bomb skill has been changed as follows
    • Skill cooldown changed from 8 seconds to 5 seconds.
Water Bead – Flow: Water bomb linkage is the only long-distance skill among awakening skills, but it was inconvenient to use because the cooldown time of each skill was different. To improve these areas, we have matched the cooldowns of the Water Orb, Flow: Water Bomb skills.

Witch

The awakening witch has also been updated in the same direction as the awakening wizard to diversify the battle method.

What the awakened position also needed was the enhancement of survivability. In order to be able to leave the battlefield more stably after using awakening skills such as current wave and lightning storm, which are the main skills of the awakening position, we have added the ‘Elementalization’ skill to add a skill that allows you to evade backwards.

The second is the strengthening of medium-range combat. The awakening position has been added to the ‘Baptism of Lightning’ and ‘Call of the Earth’ skills so that you can take a mid-range position and attack in connection with the flood, lightning, and skill.

The location of the lore enables fast battles after using space movement like the lore wizard, and the Prime: multi-magical arrows have been strengthened by increasing the casting speed and attack distance to use them.

Many adventurers are very interested in character decorating, but in the past, you could only choose within a set color, and you had to press each one, so it was a pity to make a more beautiful appearance.
In order to solve this problem, in addition to the function of applying the character hair as RGB color value, which was revealed in the last Black Desert Research Lab, the ‘Color Palette’ function updated today allows you to adjust not only the color of the clothes, but also the materials, so that many adventurers can enjoy a little more. Item Drop Scroll ON/OFF Improvements

  • The function of the Item Drop Increase Scroll UI has been improved as follows.

    •  When moving the Item Drop Increase UI, the changed location is maintained even when the player disconnects from the game or enters a loading screen, such as changing server.
With today’s update, the inconvenient parts of the Item Acquisition Increase Scroll UI have been improved. First of all, the location of the UI that was placed last was saved, and in order to prevent wasting time by forgetting to turn off and not turning it off when logging into another character while hunting, this step setting has been improved so that it can be set on a character-by-character basis. The last time you enter a town (metropolitan), this feature has been changed to turn off completely.

Stage 1 Node Wars are for guilds and new adventurers who are just starting out in Node Wars. As a result, it is proceeding in a way that limits the ability, but there were still shortcomings. We are continuously improving so that players can play in the same conditions as possible, such as health and resistance, from the initial siege limitation, and today, we have also placed restrictions on special evasion items that many adventurers have requested. We will continue to check in the future to ensure that Phase 1 Node Wars return to their original intentions.
  • Improvements have been made so that, when resurrected after death within a certain distance around the fortress/command post/field headquarters during Node/Conquest War, the player can revive immediately without a loading screen.
    • When reviving immediately without a loading screen, the character invincibility effect for about 5 seconds is applied.
With today’s update, the system has been improved so that if you die near the fortress during Node/Conquest War, you can respawn immediately without additional loading. Here, the distance near the fortress is the same as the distance that can be applied to the existing ‘Battle Spirit’ effect. We, Black Desert, are basically trying to create a seamless world as much as possible without loading. Especially in Node/Occupation Wars, there is no choice but to resurrect frequently, but loading was inconvenient, and sometimes tingling occurred or affected an uncomfortable environment. Therefore, we improved the resurrection system so that it can be resurrected immediately without loading around the fortress.

In addition, although it was not applied in today’s patch, we are currently developing a remote installation of forts/attachments so that ‘builders’ will suffer less.
