New Class: Seraph (Savior)
- Savior, now officially revealed as Seraph, will be the 31st class
- Seraph will be available on Global Labs from 13th December, and released on NA/EU on Thursday, 18th December. Console release will be 8th January.
- Seraph uses a Greatsword for both her main and awakening weapon. The weapons are called Sacramentium and Purgametum.
- Although she is an Ascension class, her weapon does not change, but her Ascension skills use an even mightier version.
- Her sub-weapon is called Clavis and sits the hilt. The device seals a substance, and when unsealed, it can draw on the Sacred Power to transform her body.
- When transforming, Seraph has a different appearance, and her Greatsword becomes even larger.

- Serpah is designed to capture the spirit of awakening Warrior, and feel more like the original older classes, but still brings something new and fresh as a new class.
- Her 100% Black Spirit Rage effect lasts for 60 seconds, and absorbing your Black Spirit Rage allows you to choose between Light or Darkness to match your playstyle.
- Light skills have a smaller attack area, so they’re better suited for PVP, while Darkness skills are better suited to PVE and slower for a much more comfortable grind. However, you are not forced to use one or the other for certain content if you prefer the playstyle of the other.
- Seraph also has a unique passive named “Unshakeable Will”. The passive allows you to keep your combat rhythm without interruptions for 5 seconds. For example, you can start your combo, then weave in a dodge skill or cancel and then continue the combo seamlessly into her “finisher” skill.
- Seraph has a Grapple and Block skill, and is a damage reduction class
PVE – New Monster Zones, Alchemy Stone Rework, Altar of Blood Rework
Monster Zones
- Since the recent updates, the average gear score of players has jumped up a lot, and grown faster than PA expected
- Origin of Dark Hungers is in high demand, making Ulukita a popular spot, so many players have been grinding there despite having the gear to grind tougher spots. To try to make harder spots more tempting again, the drop chance of Deboreka Accessories was increased, but it wasn’t enough, and there were also other problems, such as end-game players not having much choice or variety in monster zones.
- The variety of “top-tier” zones will be expanded to give players more choice again of where they want to grind.
- Stars End and Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Lower) will be reworked. These 2 spots will join Zepharos as the 3 “top-tier” monster zones.

- Stars End and Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Lower) will have a recommended AP of 395 and recommended 460 DP. New mechanics and unique features will be added. More zones are also in the works, and will be revealed when they are ready.
- Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Upper) is also being reworked. It will have the recommended stats updated to 300 AP and 390 DP, and the drop rate of Merchant Ring Piece will be increased.
- A new Edania party zone will be added near Zepharos. This new grind spot is a 3-party spot with recommended AP of 380 and 440 DP,
- Dehkia Gyfin Temple #(370 AP, 440 DP) and Mirumok Ruins (350 AP, 427 DP) will be added as party spots.

- Exclusive loot drops will be added to the new “top-tier” monster zones (Stars End, Zepharos, Sycraia Lower), and the loot will only be available from these spots.
- The first exclusive drop is Corrupted Oil of Immortality, as this is considered hard to craft.
- The second exclusive loot is “Weapon and Defense Gear Effect Dye”. A new system will be added, which will allow you to change the effect color of your weapon and armor. It will also change the appearance of the weapon slightly as well as the color. The dye is sellable on the Central Market, and at the moment, the available colors will be purple and red. In the future, other “top-tier” spots will introduce other colors.

Content Changes
- Challenge rewards will be added for reaching certain AP between 340 and 385 AP. There are up to 20 reward boxes in total for reaching these achievements, and you can choose between an Ancient hammer or a Primordial hammer. All players can collect the rewards, even if you have already reached the goal.
- New ways to earn Cron Stones through content will be added. Currently, the only way to get Cron Stones through content is Pit of Undying, but only 18% of players regularly take part in this content.
- Dark Rift rewards will be updated, and each boss will give you 100 Cron Stones. Defeating all 4 Atoraxxion Bosses will also reward you with 500 Cron Stones. In total, you can earn up to 1,600 Cron Stones per week by defeating your Dark Rifts, Atoraxxion Bosses, and Pit of the Undying.
- In addition, Atoraxxion Dungeons will be streamlined. The normal and season difficulty will be removed, and the current Elvia difficulty will become the normal difficulty (and only available difficulty). Matchmkaking will also be removed, and the weekly subjugation reward will be merged so that the rewards from 2 runs will be awarded in just 1 dungeon run.
- The World Boss schedule and rewards will also be improved. Currently, up to 4 bosses can spawn at once, so the schedule and spawn frequency will be changed. In the new schedule, a maximum of 2 bosses will spawn per time slot and the rewards will be increased.
- The weekly quest system for Land of the Morning Light bosses will be removed so that you can obtain rewards from them each time they spawn. However, Garmoth will be keeping the weekly quest system.
- Several buffs you can buy from your campsite are being merged and improved. The buffs will be made into scrolls similar to “Blessing of Mystic Beasts” that you can buy and use whenever you want. Church buffs are currently split into 3 types, which makes them a hassle so they will also be merged into one “Blessing of Adventure” buff. The price will remain the same, and you can buy it as a scroll as well. The campsite buffs all have different functions, so they will stay separate, but you’ll be able to buy and store these as scrolls too. Finally villa buffs can be bought as a scroll with the Turning Gates or Body Enhancement Buff. You still need a Secret Book of Old Moon to purchase the scroll from the campsite.
- Due to the changes to buffs, the max number of consumables for the Fairy Skill “Continuous Care” has been increased at each level.
- Level 1 – 5 > 7
- Level 2 – 8 > 10
- Level 3 – 12 > 15
- Level 4 – 16 > 20
- Level 5 – 25 > 30
- Primordial black stones can be exchanged into failstacks. For example, 170 Primordial black stones > 200 FS
- A loot report feature will be added. When you enter a monster zone in Marni Realm, the loot report feature will be used automatically. It will record how much loot you’ve earned while grinding inside Marni’s Realm and how long you have been grinding for. The loot report system will show which character you used, your AP/DP, and the history of past grind sessions so you can compare and see your improvements.
Alchemy Stone Rework
- Resplendent Alchemy Stones and higher can be combined with Vell’s Heart to create a new alchemy stone. The new alchemy stone will have the stats of the Resplendent Alchemy Stone, as well as the Displayed AP from Vell’s Heart.
- The alchemy stone rework remains the same as the plans shared last ball, but with one change: the difficulty for creating alchemy stones is already high, and they plan to make it more possible to obtain high-grade alchemy stones.
- The supply of materials for upgrading alchemy stones will be limited in a way similar to the Edana’s Defense Gear. This was decided because PA wants to respect the struggles that adventurers have gone through who have already achieved the high-tier alchemy stones.
- The materials will come through Dark Rift Bosses.

Altar of Blood Rework
- Altar of Blood will return as PVE 3-player group content.
- The aim of Altar of Blood is to defend the relic in the center, and if the durability of the relic reaches 0, you will fail to complete the stage.
- If you are successful, you will continue to the next stage, with the difficulty increasing as you clear each level.
- Altar of Blood does not have a high DP requirement as the focus is mainly on your ability to protect the relic. The recommended AP for stage 1 is 300 AP, and the recommended AP increases by 5 for each stage you complete (to a max of 350 AP once you reach stage 10).
- The are 30 stages in total, and the rewards for completing Altar of Blood are weekly rewards, as well as a reward based on the highest stage you reach. The main rewards you can expect include failstacks and Origin of Dark Hunger.
- You are also able to rerun Altar of Blood with your friends and guild members to help them complete the group content.
PVP – Node/Conquest War Changes, RBF, AoS, War of the Roses
Node War, Conquest War
- New territories Ulukita and Edania will be added to Node Wars to refresh the node war scene.
- Tier 1 will now take place in Balenos and Serendia, Tier 2 in Valencia and Ulukita, and Tier 3 in Calpheon and Edania.
- Tier 2 and Tier 3 will be rotated to keep the node war scene fresh.
- The rules for the Occupation-based node wars has also changed. If 5 guilds sign up, all 5 guilds will now be placed in the same territory. If 6 or more guilds sign up, the guilds will be divided into the two regions. For example, 3 guilds in Serendia, and 3 in Balenos.
- When only 1 fort is left standing, the final fort will also automatically change to a (?) time fort. This is to make the fight more exciting, instead of guilds just waiting for the last seconds to fight for the fort.
- For Construction-based Node War, the participation reward will be changed to remove the 10-minute fort rule, and will only require a total of 100 kills/deaths. The duration of Construction Node Wars will also be extended to 2 hours (Occupation node wars remain at 1h).
- Other node war improvements include allowing alliance members to use the world map ping system, Guild rally skills available in the desert, and traps showing whether or not they can be placed when you are in the placement UI.
- Annex buildings will show an alert when the building starts and finishes, and kill streak notifications will be shown during the war as well, and the node war results screen will be updated (Guild League was used as an example of how the results screen could be improved)
- The base rewards for Node Wars will be improved. Resplendent Medal of Honor will be reworked and updated/reset each year. The existing medals will not be changed retrospectively
- Conquest war will also be updated, with a new rule that the war will end when the castle is destroyed.
- The aim is that defenders hold out as long as possible, while the attackers race to destroy the castle fort as quickly as they can.
- A new universal reward for Conquest Wars will be added. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose the conquest war, and only the duration of the war matters when distributing the rewards. If the defenders hold out for longer, they will get a larger portion of the reward, while if the attackers quickly take out the defenders, the majority of the reward will be split between all the attacking guilds.
- Balenos and Serendia will return as Conquest war territories and will have the original “free for all” conquest rules, while Mediah and Valencia will have the new rules
- Conquest wear buffs will also be extended to all regions. Mediah and Valenica will give a +50% Item Drop rate buff to all regions, while Balenos and Serendia will give a +20% Item Drop rate buff to all regions.
Red Battlefield
- The matchmaking system will be updated and the channel selection will be removed. Instead, you will just queue up and enter automatically once the match has enough participants.
- Rewards for Red Battlefield will be given when you meet certain criteria, such as meeting a certain number of kills/deaths, damage health, damage taken
- There will be Honor rewards and long-term rewards. Honor rewards are based on a new ranking system, while long-term rewards are for cumulative victories over time (like the recent AoS challenge rewards)
- The reward update will come at a later date once the rest of the updates to matchmaking are considered stable.
Arena of Solare
- When winning a match, the same number of points will be earned for each tier. In the case of a loss, the points you lose will be different for each tier.
- An MMR system will be added
- The formula for selecting MVP and ACE will also be changed
- Voice chat will now be automatically activated; however, microphone input is disabled by default.
- A better HUD will be added to display and track allies more easily. For example, it will show the distance from team members, and if an ally is CC’d an exclamation mark will show to alert you.
War of the Roses
- The battlefield area for the War of the Roses will be scaled down, with the uppermost portion of the area removed.
- Monster Damage Reduction effects will be cut in half, as they are overwhelmingly strong
- Spirit’s Altar spawn time will be changed from immediately after the start of WotR to 45 minutes after the start.
- To stop situations where the Commander is targeted and defeated at the start, protection will be added to the Commander, which is only removed when the S1 or N1 node is captured.
- As it is difficult for the leading guild to fill the 100-member roster by themselves, you can now fill the spare slots with the 3rd legion. For example, the Leading Guild can set how many players they will bring to War of the Roses. If they bring 70 members, then the 3rd legion will have up to 230 slots (instead of the usual 200).
- The preparation for the War of the Roses will be improved, and team chat will be available earlier in the day so that you can prepare strategies in advance to the start.
- Rewards will be increased for Traces of Thunderbolt and Brilliant Honor Medals

New Adventurers – Olvia Academy
- Olvia Academy will be content aimed at helping players once they graduate from season.
- Everyone who enrolls in Olvia Academy will get the Academia Outfit as a school uniform
- There will be a combat-intensive course where players learn combat, such as back attacks and down attacks.
- There is an example monster zone area that teaches players the mechanics of spots they can grind at after season and weekly quests to defeat a boss.
- The first classes will run from Jan 7th to April 14th (in Korea), and once it ends, classes will begin again immediately after.
- Rewards for taking part in Olvia Academy include a “Choose your PEN Blackstar Box” and “Obsidian Hammer” (Blackstar Hammer). The rewards are for new and returning players.
- There are also life skill classes for each life skill, and these reward you with Manos gear.
- There are 2 Major courses, and if you complete all courses and graduate from the academy, you can et rewards.
- Combat Curriculum Rewards: 6,000 Cron Stones, Advice of Valks (+250), Darkseeker Blackstone (guaranteed PEN Blackstar), PEN Blackstar Weapon Selection Box, Obsidian Hammer x5
- Life Curriculum Rewards: 1,000 Cron Stones per Life Skill (up to 9,000 Cron Stones), Geranoa Life Skill Tools/Clothes, Floramos Accessories x2
- Even after graduating from the Academy, you can come back to get weekly quests from the bulletin board
- The Magnus Questline is no longer required to unlock the features of the Magnus. The first quest will now unlock storage features for Balenos, and then talking to the Storage NPCs for each region will unlock the others.
- Naru Gear will be removed, and the “season only” label for Tuvala Gear will be removed, allowing you to keep and use all Tuvala gear outside of season.
- Time-filled Blackstones will be replaced with regular Blackstones and changed to “Time-filled Fragments”. Time-filled Fragments can be collected and exchanged for loot scrolls as before and used to repair the max durability of Time-filled Blackstones.

Guilds – Guild Bosses, Guild Buffs, Guild Records
- The structure of guild missions will be changing. Currently, a guild has a daily reset of 10 missions. With the upcoming change, you will still get 10 missions per day, but if they aren’t completed, then they will stack the next day (up to a max of 30 missions at a time).
- War Heroes will be restricted to Node War/Conquest War and will not receive loot from Guild Bosses.
- All Guild Bosses will be in a separate field area, like Khan.
- The route for guild bosses and the bosses will change so that they are closer together and simplified
- The rewards for guild bosses will be improved.
- Cadry tokens, which are used to make Guild Elephants, can now be obtained through the guild shop with guild funds, so the guild leader doesn’t have to get them themselves
- The Guld platoon UI and the regular platoon UI will be merged
- The way guild buffs are applied will be changed. A new buff UI will be added so that you can see all guild buffs together. Guild buffs will no longer apply to a character and will apply to all the family.
- Older guild skills need to be reworked
- The guild history page will be improved, guild records will be added, which will store information such as the guild’s founding date, conquest and node war records, track records, etc.
- The Guild Daily pay was going to be increased, but PA decided it would be better to increase the Family Fame Funds instead. So the cap and rewards will be increased so you can earn 100 million silver a day though Family Fame.

Life Skills
- The overall revenue from Life Skill content will be increased and brought more in line with Fishing
- The number of Byproducts you can get through Life Skills will be increased so that they are all more similar to the rate of Cooking.
- When leveling horses. all exp earned when autopathing will go into an “exp sack” for each horse. You can then draw from the EXP pool at your convenience instead of having to constantly check your horse EXP to reroll skills. You can run autopath without worry then level the horse when you are ready using the stored EXP.
- Items like mount skill change coupons and level down coupons can be used anywhere, so you no longer need to go to a stable keeper
- The EXP gain variation based on level will be removed, all training EXP gained will be equal
- New Wild Horses will be added that cannot be obtained through breeding. The horses will have special stats such as a much slower growth rate, but the sell price will be increased by x8.
- Krogdalo’s Sanctuary will be improved with a new feature. You can now store any 5 horses in the Krogdalo Sanctuary, including the Krogdalo horse. You will also be able to remotely collect a horse using the Sanctuary, and move the Krogdalo Sanctuary between characters, and it will automatically place the horses inside the item if you have the Celestial Horse Flute.
- Harvest times for farming will be unified to 20 hours but will have more rewards so you don’t have to tend to your farms as often. Fertilizer and Water will be removed.
- Bartering level 2 goods weight will be reduced from 800LT to 400LT so that you can do more routes in one trip. There will also be new level 6 and 7 barter goods added, which will be traded in Towns or Cities, but for these goods you cannot transport them using storage. There are also new trade routes in Land of the Morning Light, Edania, and Southern Kamasylvia.
- Hunting zone will be added in Edana and new stuffed furniture. For example, the new stoneback crab furniture gives +100 Hunting Mastery
- Inland fishing will be updated, and profits will be increased. The aim is not to surpass Velia fishing spot, but to bring other inland spots closer to Velia profit. You will also be able to select and sell specific fish in bulk at once. The auto discard feature for autofishing will be added to Manual fishing as well to make the process much smoother.
- A new life skill treasure will be added called “Nostos Return Stone”. The player can put down their tent then use the treasure item. It will teleport you to your residence of choice, then you can teleport back to campsite after. The treasure item is crafted using materials that must be gathered using the Gathering lifeskill, but the treasure item can be sold on the central market
